Midwest Unplugged, hosted by Alexia Arias, is an audio and visual production team for local and regional musicians. Founded by David Stillson in his studio in South Bend, Indiana; The unplugged series focuses on unique qualities of the individual or group in a short video documentary and studio recording session.
Each episode features hand-picked artists found throughout the Midwest and US by Midwest Unplugged. Alexia digs deep and gets to know the artists as the entire process gets recorded. The MU website features each episode along with MU’s YouTube channel. The MU staff also accompanies each video with an article, band page and photography.
Midwest Unplugged provides the opportunity for musicians in the Midwest region to record their music and showcase their talents. Based in South Bend, IN at David Stillson Productions, Midwest Unplugged will bring in local artists from Michiana and the surrounding areas to feature them in high quality music video production. Midwest Unplugged strives to be the premiere online music venue, bringing local and regional music to a global audience.
